Is No Your Default Language
Is NO your default language to yourself? No, I can't do it. No, I can't go. No, I do not have enough time. No, I have too much to do. No, no, no.
Well, found myself in this situation last night. No and a list of excuses came out of my mouth when I received a call to go sit outside and drink wine. The first excuse was "I don't drink wine. I don't drink."
My sister friend was not hearing it. "Put on some clothes and let's go". In my sister friend's mind, not drinking was not excuse enough to miss a moment of spending time together and talking. As we talked about my experience, she shared one similar to mine in which in her past she would have forfeited going to an event that she wanted to attend recently because she was asked last minute. She honored her desire to go and went.
We must learn to sieze the moment to make valuable memories, and pass our lessons on to another sister as my sister friend did for me.
Now, this is honoring our PUSSY as MEDICINE when we let go and enjoy the moment.
Ps. I tried the wine. Although I did not drink much, I had a helluva hangover. I knew it was time to go to bed when I started thinking I wanted some nuts and laughing at myself because I meant nuts...not 'nuts'.
