This Logo Has Significance
This logo has significance for me because ‘she’ came to me in a dream last year except for the lotus flower which is a life experience for me. I chose to make her naked because women have been shamed about so many things from what our naked bodies look like to who we are as wild women. “Wild women or the Wild Woman archetype can be expressed in other terms which are equally apt. You can call this powerful psychological nature the instinctive nature, but Wild Woman is the force which is behind that” Clarissa Pinkola Estes’.
Ms. Estes’ also says “when women reassert their relationship with the wildish nature, they are gifted with a permanent and internal watcher, a knower, a visionary, an oracle, an inspiratrice, an intuitive, a maker, a creator, an inventor, and a listener who guide, suggest, and urge vibrant life in the inner and outer worlds…so the word wild here is not used in its modern pejorative sense, meaning out of control, but in its original sense, which means to live a natural life, one in which the criatura, creature, has innate integrity and healthy boundaries.”
The moon (blue) came to me this color, and it represents the feminine especially her emotions. It also represents a woman’s intuition and can represent loyalty, trust, and dependability. Women’s cycles are often in tune with the moon and go in 27/30 day cycles. The tides are ruled by the moon’s cycles, and it is said that the moon represent all women (maiden, mother, and crone), particularly the crone as she has all three encapsulated within her along with the wisdom that belong to these phases of womanhood.
The woman sitting with the blue lotus flower represents my own birth or part of it. Like the lotus flower, the Great Mother has divided herself into many represented by the opening of the petals who nurtured me and birthed me through my pain into a place of peace. The lotus petals only opens one by one, and it only grows in the mud. This wild woman sits in silence in the presence of her Divine Feminine essence as represented by the moon allowing herself to be nurtured by the mud (Earth) because she knows that all things serve her well.
Staying in a place of gratitude and keeping a meditative heart, she is constantly being re-energized by her own breast hence why they are naked. A woman’s breast supply milk to nurture her babies. Her men lay their heads on her breast to be fed metaphorically and sometimes in the literal sense as they need this love from a woman (Divine Feminine/feminine energy).
I want to remind women they are capable of giving themselves life if they suckle from their own breast from their own gifts. It is truly ok to be transparent and naked letting the world know we need our time to replenish ourselves as well. Sitting in quietness (deep silence from within) in a state of sacred grace is one of the best ways to meet the Wild Woman (power force behind our instinctive self) over and over again.
The command here is LISTEN closely and hear what your authentic wild woman self is asking you. This woman represents all women because we all have the power to create life and to sustain life when we turn within and create it for ourselves. It is only in sustaining ourselves will we be able to sustain the world.
She is holding the world in her womb because everything is created from the womb of a woman whether it is the physical womb or the metaphysical womb. The metaphysical womb which is all about the core of feminine energy (being, receiving, creating, and surrendering). The masculine energy is about doing and making things happen. Most High has balance in everything and within man and woman both the masculine and the feminine energy resides, but I digress.
The woman has her hands positioned over her yoni (vagina) because it is through this portal that the life that is created comes through on a physical level, and it is also through this portal metaphysically that our sexual energy can create and can command from the world and our men what we desire. They will literally fall at our feet and worship us should we learn what this truly means and the power it holds for us. This is not manipulation of any kind especially sexual manipulation, and it does not support disrespect of our men. I also have included a representation of the yoni because sexual healing is very important in relation to sexual trauma.
The Wild Woman in her power communes with herself first in order to teach women how to use their own sacredness to heal themselves from trauma especially sexual trauma. I chose this logo because our energy goes before us, and this logo reminds me of who I am, whose I am, and the power that I carry for no other reason than I am a woman and that is enough when I learn how to tap into wild woman.
I am told that a woman who knows the power of her womb can command life and the world and SO IT IS when we remember. May this logo remind those who forget or who have forgotten you are sacred.
